E-Top WiFi Customization Solution

With the development of technology, more and more users are desired for an automated home living environment. As a professional thermostat manufacturer, thermostat is a key temperature controller for a comfortable and energy-efficient home life. E-Top controls supports clients' needs for such smart home automation control. At present, E-Top mainly uses Tuya’s cloud and WiFi modules. But if heat pump, gas boiler, fan coil manufacturers or brand distributors have their own cloud and app, E-Top also supports customized services.

For WiFi thermostats, we provide two solutions:

a. E-Top develops thermostat firmware only. WiFi module’s firmware developed by clients.  Same as Tuya solution, we will receive WiFi module with firmware inside. E-Top will responsible to make thermostat MCU communicate with wifi module firmware by modify UART protocol.  This UART protocol can provide by E-Top or clients.

b. E-Top develops both thermostat firmware and wifi module. For this solution, we will need MQTT protocol from client. Most of our customer choose to use ESPRESSI wifi module, for example ESP C3. Between cloud and wifi module, the protocol can be MQTT, AWS, HTTP, TCP etc.  MQTT is preferred.
