The European Heat Pump Association (EHPA) announced that sales and growth of heat pumps in Europe hit a record high in 2022. (From EHPA)   According to preliminary data compiled by the association from 16 European markets, a total of nearly 3 million heat pump systems were sold in these regions in 2022, and the year-on-year growth rate of nearly 38% was slightly higher than the previous year's record growth rate of 34%. The number of heat pumps and hot water heat pumps installed in Europe has reached 20 million, heating 16% of the local residential and commercial buildings. For Europe, the sharp fluctuations in energy prices over the past year, as well as the policy support of national governments for the energy transition, are the background of hot heat pump sales. According to the statistics of the European Heat Pump Association, the installed capacity of many countries, including Germany, can reach more than 50%.
